With a wealth of experience in Early Years Education and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by children and families, Dragana is a dedicated and accomplished educator. Having worked at leading educational institutions in Dubai for over a decade, Dragana has honed her skills as both an educator and senior leader, guiding hundreds of children and their families on their educational journey. Committed to creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for young children, Dragana has devoted her career to ensuring that each child receives the support and guidance they need to thrive and reach their full potential.

Dragana completed her education in the UAE and the UK, developing a passion for psychology and philosophy along the way. Boasting an extensive academic background, Dragana is a qualified Early Years Educator with a PGC in Speech, Language, and Communication Needs in Children (SLCN-C) and has completed a BSc (Hons) in Cognitive Behavioural Therapeutic Approaches. While she does not provide psychotherapy or psychological counselling services, her comprehensive knowledge of CBT approaches, combined with her extensive experience in Early Years Education, enables her to offer valuable guidance.

In response to the growing demand for parental support amidst the challenges of Covid-19, Dragana established the Mind Maze Family Support Centre to provide social and behavioural training and support families in need. The centre was focused on addressing the low mood and high anxiety levels experienced by children and caregivers alike during those unprecedented times.

With a particular focus on fostering strong relationships with families and caregivers, Dragana prioritises open communication, ensuring that parents are actively involved in their child's life journey. By working closely with families, she is able to create a seamless and supportive connection between home and school environments.

Dragana’s tireless dedication to her work extends far beyond her work at Mind Maze. She frequently attends conferences and workshops to keep her skills and knowledge up-to-date and has even presented her own research on best practices in Early Years Education at industry events. This commitment to continuous learning allows her to stay at the forefront of her field and provide her students - the future educators, and children she works with, with the highest quality educational experience.

In her role Dragana utilises her extensive experience and expertise to guide and support parents through the complexities of raising young children. She recognises that each family is unique and offers tailored advice to address specific challenges and foster nurturing relationships. Dragana's empathetic approach and genuine understanding of the diverse dynamics within families allow her to empower parents with practical, actionable strategies that not only enhance their children's development but also strengthen family bonds. Her commitment to providing parents with the tools they need to navigate parenthood confidently is a testament to her passion for early childhood education and family well-being. Through her work Dragana remains committed to empowering children and their families, providing them with the tools and resources they need to thrive in today's ever-changing world.

Dragana is an avid reader with a keen interest in early childhood development literature, continuously exploring new research and ideas to enhance her professional practice. As a strong believer in the importance of work-life balance, Dragana cherishes spending quality time with her family and friends, often indulging in her love for nature through yoga and exploring the great outdoors. Dragana's ability to balance her personal interests and professional passion adds depth to her approach. As a proud mother of a gorgeous two year old daughter, Dragana's personal experience as a parent further enhances her ability to empathise with and support the families she works with.
